Pledge Signing | Belfast School of Art

In April, Anna Gordon, a trustee of The Scottish Goldsmiths Trust (SGT) visited Belfast School of Art (BSoA), a School within Ulster University, as a visiting lecturer from The Glasgow School of Art. During the visit, Samantha Moore, Lecturer in Silversmithing and Jewellery at BSoA signed the Ethical Making Pledge with Anna representing SGT.

The Ethical Making Pledge is a collaborative and community-based initiative for jewellery and silversmithing educational institutions. Signing the pledge signifies an institution’s commitment to implement ethical making practises into the curriculum, workshop practises and sourcing of materials.

We're thrilled to announce that Belfast School of Art, are the latest signatories to the Ethical Making Pledge where their students will join us on their journey next academic year!
